Sevika Sangham

Sevika Sangham members actively participated in area wise prayer meetings and quarterly fellowship meetings.  Sevika Sangham Day was observed on Sunday, 10 September 2017.  The members took active part in the worship services and delivered the word of God. Breakfast was served to all the parishioners on that day. Sevika Sangham members along with our Achen visited the sick and old people of Bandra (W) area. Members also visited the sick and old people of their own areas and spent time with them.

Sevika   Sangham members participated in the Onam celebrations of the Church organized by the Yuvajana Sakhyam.  We also participated in the Christmas Carol Service and distributed cake to all on that day.  We have donated Rs. 10,000/- for distributing snacks to the students of St. Thomas School, Kurar during Christmas.

We have contributed Rs. 45,000/- for Daya Niketan Girl’s Education Centre and Hostel Nallasopara which is a project undertaken by the Mumbai Diocesan Sevika Sangham. 

We have sponsored two children from Navjeevan Centre. Also, we have given donations to MCRD Thadiyoor, Christamitra Ashram   Ankola and MT School for Deaf, Cherkala.  This financial year we could donate Rs 42,724/- for charity purposes namely, Education, Medical and House for Houseless from the amount collected out of Bake Sale.

Sevika Sangham members sponsored the Jawhar Mission Field Visit on 2nd Sunday, 10/12/2017.

The members took active part in the competitions held at Shakha, Centre and Diocesan level and won many prizes.  This year Sevika Sangham Mumbai Centre overall Champion Trophy 3rd prize is awarded to our Shakha. We also participated in the Centre/ Diocesan meetings, Camps, Conventions, etc… We have participated in the Leaders Retreat held at Panvel Church on 16/09/2017 and Young Womens Conference held at Goregaon Church on 06/01/2018. 

Bhadrasana Sevika Sangham Convention was held at our Church on 26/01/2018 from 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Our Diocesan Bishop, 17 Achens and 380 members from various churches of Mumbai Diocese attended the same.

Our members actively participated in the Ecumenical Meetings held at various churches. Ecumenical Convention was held at our church on 6th and 7th October, 2017.
